Sure Date is the script for you! Using an algorithm that will work for any date more recent than the year 400 (thanks Dr. Treu!), Sure Date monitors the current date selected in the date selection menus. It automatically tells you the day of week when you pick a new date, and it removes bogus day choices (like Feb. 31). It has several customizable options. First, you can choose whether or not you display the weekday. Second, you can choose whether the month and weekday get returned as a number (0-6 for the weekday for example) or as a string ("Mon." or "Tues." for example). |
